FLINT, MI – For years, Andrew Hall has wanted to set up shop in downtown Flint, but it just never worked out.
"I've wanted to be down here for a long time," he said.
On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the owner of the business opened his third location, in the heart of downtown Flint,.
In October, he looked at the new location, 400 S. Saginaw St., and within a few days Hall struck a deal to add the new location, which will bring an extra two positions to Digital Medics.
With two other locations in Davison and Flushing, Hall said the company's newest location started Tuesday with a soft opening. He said there are plans to add more signage and equipment in the coming month.
Offering retail as well as repairs to computers, what drew Hall to downtown Flint was the college-age population. With the ability to do repairs on Apple products, he said being near college students is just a smart move.
